These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Known ("the App"), operated by Treehouse Properties LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a Wisconsin limited liability company.
By downloading, installing, or using Known, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Known is a personal devotional journaling app that uses artificial intelligence to generate Scripture-centered devotionals based on your journal entries. The App offers both free guest access and a paid subscription.
You may use Known as a guest or create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Known offers an auto-renewable subscription at $4.99 per month with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. No refunds will be provided for the unused portion of any subscription period.
Devotionals, reflections, prayers, and artwork generated by Known are created by artificial intelligence and are for personal spiritual reflection only. They are not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or pastoral care. If you are in crisis, please contact a crisis hotline, counselor, or pastor.
You retain ownership of your journal entries and personal content. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your content through our AI services solely for the purpose of generating your devotionals. We do not use your content for AI model training or share it with third parties beyond what is described in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to: attempting to circumvent subscription requirements, reverse-engineering the App, or using the App for any unlawful purpose.
Known is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or appropriate for any specific situation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
This app is licensed to you under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA). By using the App, you also agree to the terms of Apple's Standard EULA.
